WHICH FACILITIES DO YOU USE?
We have 10 tennis courts next to the Virgin Active, three fields at Green Point Club, the Pavilion Swimming Pool and the use of Long Street Baths and an Astroturf at the school. We use the premium carrier, Springbok Atlas to transport our students to and from sports venues.
WHAT ARE YOUR CLASS SIZES?
Our maximum class size is 25 students. This ensures an optimal environment for learning and personal development.

06 DO YOU HAVE LEARNING SUPPORT?
Our teachers are always willing to offer the learning support needed for any student. Our school also has available an OT, speech therapists and a counselor.
07 WHAT LANGUAGES ARE OFFERED?
The language of instruction is English. In Grade 1 Xhosa and Afrikaans are taught as additional languages. French and Portuguese are also offered extramurally.
08 WHAT DOES THE ADMISSION PROCESS ENTAIL?
Our admission process is not based on gender, date of birth, race, culture or religious persuasion. Parents have the opportunity to attend an interview and if a place becomes available they are able to select the school for their child.
09 MUSIC OFFERED?
We are a performing Arts school with Specialist music offered from Stage 1 right up to Grade 3 where the children do class music and play the recorder. Students may also take individual lessons with a private teacher in any instrument including piano, flute, recorder, saxophone, trumpet, voice, guitar, drums and ukulele. Other performing arts subjects include Art, Creative Movement and Music offered as a specialist subjects from stage 5 onwards.
10 WHAT KIND OF SECURITY IS OFFERED AT THE SCHOOL?
We have a private security company that facilitates this.
11 DO YOU HAVE AFTERCARE FACILITIES?
Yes, Adventure Zone runs from the end of the school day and in school holidays.
12 IS THERE A SPECIFIC RELIGION THAT IS FOLLOWED AT THE SCHOOL?
We are a non-denominational school, however we do offer a choice between Bible/Moral and Jewish Studies as an extra during the school day.
13 WHAT KIND OF SYSTEM DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE FOR DISCIPLINE?
We implement a merit and demerit system and focus is placed on personal development and positive behaviour.
14 WHICH SPORTS ARE OFFERED?
All traditional and non-traditional sports are offered including tennis, cricket, swimming, water polo, rugby, athletics, netball, hockey, golf and surfing. We rent the top facilities in the area to accommodate these activities.
15 DO YOU OFFER THE IEB CURRICULUM?
Yes, Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard is affiliated with the Independent Examination Board (IEB), offering an internationally respected curriculum, including a broad range of academic, cultural and sporting activities.
